    My 2 Stroke amp is up and running. Had a few issues with preamp circuit, had afew loose connections. The sound is awesome. When it came to life it almost blew me out of the room.

    Congratulations. So…was the rectifier tube bad?

    joewilly reports that it was indeed a bad tube, AES gave him credit for it. The amp is now working.
