I am new to the TAN site and I just completed a 2 Stroke amp. If you have not read Dave Hunters book The Guitar amp handbook you should. The book is a valuable resource. And the beauty of the 2 Stroke amp is that
you can change power tube using the list of recommended power tubes.
I do not have any electronic background and I was able to complete the 2 stroke amp and it actualy works. Saying that, it says a lot for the simplicity and unique character of the 2 stroke amp.
