The ES-125 will work without issue. The 290 AEX PT only specs 2a for the 5v tap which is barely enough for a 5Y3, 3 or more amps would be better. You could skip the rectifier tube and make a solid state version. It would be cheaper, have a little more output and tighter bottom end. Super simple to build. Or, find another PT.
